The small town Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen), earlier known as a producer of lilys of the valley, has a well-preserved city wall and a worth to see townhall. Due their location not far of a lake it is touristical very advisable.

Church dedicated to St. James in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen)

Gothic church from 1298. The church was a station on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
how to find → If you drive thru Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen) from direction Słubice (Frankfurt (Oder)-Dammvorstadt) than you will see the church in the middle of the old town on your right.

Chapel dedicated to St. Gertraud in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen)

Chapel from the middle of the 15th century. Not far away was an hospital and a poorhouse, dedicated to the Holy Gertraud.
how to find → If you come from direction Słubice (Frankfurt (Oder)-Dammvorstadt) than you will see the church short before you go thru the city wall on the left side.

Former german cemetary dedicated to St. Gertraud in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen)

Not far away of the St. Gertraud chapel are some german graveplates and rests of family graves.
how to find → If you come from direction Słubice (Frankfurt (Oder)-Dammvorstadt) than you will see the cemetary short before you go thru the city wall on the left side.

Lookout tower in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen)

On the outskirts there is a lookout tower. The tower was built in 1937 as a memorial for an employee of Hitler, but years later wrongly declared as Bismarck-tower, what probably saved him from destruction after the war. Today it has fallen slightly, but offers a nice view of the surrounding area of Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen) and the lake Röthsee (Reczynek).
how to find → If you are in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen), drive to Słońsk (Sonnenburg) direction. Shortly before leaving Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen) look to the right, where the tower is on a small hill.

Lakeside theater in Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen)

Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen) has one of the most beautiful open air theaters of the region, directly on the lake Reczynek (Röthsee). It was built in the thirties of the last century by the Nazis as a so-called Thing site of a proposed reorganization of Drossen as a so-called "City of Youth ". Today its a locations for concerts and events with the city as a wonderful backdrop.
how to find → From town center go into direction Słońsk (Sonnenburg), but go right before you reach the town border. Follow the street into the forrest, the theater is on the right side in the forrest.

how to find → Before you reach the city wall of Ośno Lubuskie (Drossen) coming from Słubice (Frankfurt (Oder)-Dammvorstadt) turn right in front of a small driving school training area. You will reach the hotel after a few meters.
