The peoples of the Neumark area in the past and present have always been cheerful people, which after a hard labour likes to party. Evidence of this are numerous events and festivals of different kinds: From the annual harvest festival, celebrated in many communities in the traditional way, historical events as knight races in original locations to sports events like the numerous marathons and triathlons in Debno (Neudamm) or the huge rock show in Woodstock Kostrzyn (Küstrin), here you will find something for everyone.

Happening: Days of Cedynia Every year on the anniversary of Cedynia Battle in town Cedynia and beneath the Czcibor Mountain near Cedynia take place event called Days of Cedynia . Happening takes place usually on saturday and sunday in middle of June. There are concerts, markets, battle show, and festival of medieval culture. how to find → Event is located in the center of town, and near Czcibor mountain between Cedynia (Zehden) and Osinów Dolny (Niederwutzen).

Rock festival Woodstock in Kostrzyn (Küstrin) The biggest in Poland and probably the biggest in Europe rock festival - "Woodstock" - takes place every year in the beginning of August in Kostrzyn. how to find → Woodstock takes place north-east from Kostrzyn (Küstrin). Yearly Harvest Party "Dożynki Gminne" in Witnica (Vietz) In a lot of communities in the Neumark in the late summer or in the autumn taked place Harvest Parties, where the agriculture shows their output. There are animals and contests to see, the countrywomen makes an contest for the best self-baked cake and regional traditions will be demonstrated (to expl. the march with the harvest crone).
