Presented territory is the postglacial terrain with beautifull small hills with many lakes
in northern part and big flat surfaces of postglacial valleys in the south.
Western part is the valley of Odra River with high, steep morain edges. The surface is in big part covered by woods, however south valley parts are wet meadows of Warta Reiver estuary so is also odra Valley. North parts are also used for agriculture.
Below we present some interesting obiects of nature in Neumark region.
Lake Bielin is located near village Bielin. The lake has area of 54 hectares and maximal depth 12 metres.

From Bielin drive direction Gądno. After about 2 km you can find the lake on the right side of the road. Lake is also visible from the train between the stations Witnica Chojeńska and Bielin. |

Along a stretch of 4 km there is a trail that leads through an oak grove in a moraine. Here,
rare trees and shrub species can be seen. Information boards informed about fauna and flora
of the area. The beautiful trail passes three former mills, one of which is now a Museum of rural cultur and technic.
Scenic picnic areas invite you to linger.

Odra River
The second longest river in Poland (length: 854.3 km). It carries about 500 m3 of water per second. It is the border between Poland and Germany. You can find beautiful landscapes all along the river.

The Maurice stone near Lemierzyce (Alt Limmritz)
The so-called Maurice stone, a block of granite lying here since the Ice Age is a natural monument. He, however, has also traces of a remodeling aimed at
former importance as a ritual sacrifice stone. Close to a hunting lodge once have been. The stone was named after John Maurice of Nassau, the
Master of the Order of St. John from the neighboring town Słońsk (Sonnenburg). After the 2nd World War II an inscription in memory of the first polish population in Lemierzyce 1945
was attached, indicating that in earlier times the region was once slavic settlements.

If you came from Słońsk (Sonnenburg) towards Lemierzyce, stop a few hundred meters before reaching the village. The stone is located in the woods on the left side of the road near a hill. |

When you drive from Kostrzyn (Küstrin) direction , after the village Białcz you follow the street No. 131 right in the direction to Świerkocin (Fichtwerder). You drive till the village Nowiny Wielkie. Some meters after the train crossing you have to drive to a small street right, you will find marks. Some meters later you will find the park on the left side. |

Big boulder - 2,1 meter high, 12,5 meters round. It is called "The Devils Stone" (pol. Czarci Głaz), and its german name is "Klickstein".

Driving from Myślibórz (Soldin) you need to pass almost all village Rościn (Rostin). In the end, near by the big cross look for the mark and take road left. After that soon will be next mark to the right.
Than go about 2 kilometres on the firled-road up to the woods. In woods go another 400 metres and look for the mark. |

Siegniew Lakes
Two nice, small lakes among woods. They are a part of the Natural Preserve of the same name "Jeziora Siegniewskie".

Driving from Gozdowice in the direction of Mieszkowice, take the road left and drive through the woods for the next few kilometers. Watch for small signs marking the correct direction. |

View point equiped with nice path, stairs and small shelter in the top allows us to admire really nice view to the Odra river and its valley. It is located on the hill being ecological site.

If you are driving from Osinów Dolny (Niederwutzen) than in Stary Kostrzynek stop just after first house and park your car on the right side of the road. Than on the oposite site you will se small path leading to the view point.

Zoo Safari in Świerkocin (Fichtwerder)

Not just for children, the Zoo Safari Park is a special Neumark experience. This is not only a traditional zoo, but
you can be like a safari ride in your own vehicle through the park and its various habitats and observe the free-running animals.
A petting zoo and a small amusement park with Ferris wheel and some a little bit antiquated, but wild rides lets have you and your
kids a lot of fun.
A playground invites the littlest ones, catering supply is available. On weekends the park is usually quite frequented by very much
peoples, who can, should come on a weekday.

That the Neumark is always good for surprises, shows the small town Czelin (Zellin). Here are (not just before Christmas) reindeer
breeded. The animals, imported from Scandinavia feel now at home in the Neumark and can be visited.
Even wild pigs, rabbits and other deer is here at home.
Of course, even reindeer steaks and other animal products are purchased, the farm organized reindeer events.
And who has room can buy an reindeer here.
